Notes

'Samaritan Jo' clematis (Clematis 'Samaritan Jo') is a vine for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist soil of most types. Light pink blooms with silvery shading open in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Iceberg rose, Iris, Alpine aster, and Album culver’s root.
