Notes
'Sarah' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Sarah') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double flowers open seashell-pink and white in mid to late spring. The center is a ball-like, incurved mass that fades to blush-white as it opens fully. 'Sarah' A. Pleas bred it.
Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Aromatic aster, Picture tulip, and Sensitive fern.
