Notes

'Schwellenburg' yarrow (Achillea 'Schwellenburg') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Yellow flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and they attract butterflies and birds.

Pairs well with Spotted beebalm, Sedge, and Joe-pyeweed.
