Notes

'Scotch Lassie' peony (Paeonia 'Scotch Lassie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The fragrant single flowers are baby pink streaked with white, and bees and butterflies visit them. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Prairie dropseed, Nodding onion, and Dittany.
