Notes

'Seminole' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia indica 'Seminole') is a shrub for specimen planting, hedges, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Pink flowers open from early to late summer and continue into early autumn. Deer tend to pass it by. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and this fast-growing shrub is drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Switchgrass, Blue star, and Dense blazing star.
