Notes

'Senorita' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Senorita') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The deep cerise red flowers have a Japanese form with a rich, full center. It blooms in late spring, and the good stems hold the blooms well.

Pairs well with Wild geranium, Stargazer lily, and Garlic chives.
