Notes
'Sensation' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Sensation') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, light pink flowers turn white as they age. Thick petals give the large, flat blooms a well formed look on a dwarf bush. Hans Peter Sass bred it.
Pairs well with Orange daylily, Garlic chives, Queen of Night tulip, and Kentucky bluegrass.
