Notes

'Sequestered Sunshine' peony (Paeonia 'Sequestered Sunshine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Its yellow blooms are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Roger F. Anderson bred it in 1999.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Bobo hydrangea, Black Hero tulip, and Sedge.
