Notes

'Seri Scout' peony (Paeonia 'Seri Scout') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It forms a dense bush with small, single, carmine-red flowers that are fragrant, and bees and butterflies visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Empress Wu hosta, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
