Notes

'Shell Pink' peony (Paeonia 'Shell Pink') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It is an upstanding plant with single, fragrant flowers of pale pink with a slight yellowish green cast. The blooms come early and attract butterflies and bees.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Paprika yarrow, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Carlton daffodil.
