Notes

'Short Stuff Coral' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Short Stuff Coral') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It grows fast and tolerates drought, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Celosia, Big Smile sunflower, and Red fescue.
