Notes

'Shot Silk' rose (Rosa 'Shot Silk') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The compact plant reaches about 51 inches tall and has light green leaves. Fragrant pink blend blooms open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Alexander Dickson II bred it in 1924.

Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Black-eyed Susan, Garlic chives, and Blue jasmine.
