Notes

'Show Day' peony (Paeonia 'Show Day') is a shrub for cut flowers, cottage gardens, borders, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Rose-red or crimson blooms with ruffled petals near the center open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Lamb’s ear, and Mock orange.
