Notes

'Shu-Shen-Peng-Mo' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Shu-Shen-Peng-Mo') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears single, pure white, fragrant flowers up to 8 inches across on upright plants about three feet tall. Strong stems hold the blooms above the leaves, even in wind.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Halcyon hosta, Christmas fern, and Prairie dropseed.
