Notes

'Shuangranhuarui' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Shuangranhuarui') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Late-season semi-double flowers are purplish-red with dark greyish-purple flares at the center. They are fragrant. The upright plant needs no support and has broadly cut green leaves.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Pink Impression tulip, and Ostrich fern.
