Notes

'Silberspinne' eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Silberspinne') is a grass for borders, cottage gardens, specimens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Its arching form reaches up to 96 inches tall, and it shows fall color. Pink-tinged blooms open in summer and again in autumn, and birds visit the plant.

Pairs well with Joe Pye weed, Sarah Bernhardt peony, and Queen of Night tulip.
