Notes
'Silky Pink' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Silky Pink') is a shrub for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Mid-season blooms are soft pink, semi-double, and fragrant, and they face upward. The upright plant reaches about 24 inches tall and has blue-green foliage. Franklin and Angela Chow bred it.
Pairs well with Great blue lobelia, Prairie dropseed, and Grape hyacinth.
