Notes

'Silver Dust' tea plant (Camellia sinensis 'Silver Dust') is a shrub for containers, small spaces, and informal hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun and dry soil. New spring leaves can emerge almost entirely white and turn green as they mature. Small white flowers open in early to mid autumn. You can pick the top three young leaves from each branch tip during warm months to make tea.

Pairs well with Pacific wax myrtle, Southern shield fern, and Autumn moor grass.
