Notes

'Silver Plume' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Silver Plume') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flower has a Japanese form with light silvery pink outer petals and yellow staminodes. Pink feathers often fill the center, which makes a distinct bloom.

Pairs well with Wild geranium, Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, Nodding onion, and Christmas fern.
