Notes
'Silver Rose' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Silver Rose') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double, deep pink blooms have rounded guard petals and a light, reliable fragrance. Strong stems hold the heavy flowers well. Roy G. Klehm bred it in 2003.
Pairs well with Siberian iris, Wild bergamot, and Japanese spirea.
