Notes

'Sir Aga Khan' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Sir Aga Khan') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Kelway bred it. The large, single flowers are bright aster purple with pink centers and open in mid to late spring. The compact plant holds its blooms high above the foliage.

Pairs well with Monkshood, Guacamole hosta, Sedge, and Picture tulip.
