Sissinghurst White pulmonaria

Garden uses

Notes

'Sissinghurst White' pulmonaria (Pulmonaria 'Sissinghurst White') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodlands, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil. White flowers open from pink buds in early to late spring. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It spreads up to 18 inches, so plant it under trees for a low carpet of color.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Solomon's seal, and Christmas fern.
