Notes

'Trevi Fountain' pulmonaria (Pulmonaria 'Trevi Fountain') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland gardens, ground cover, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Large cobalt blue flowers open from pink buds in early to late spring, and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Silver-spotted leaves stay bright after the blooms fade, so plant it in masses under high branching shrubs.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Paris coral bells, Christmas fern, and Lily of the valley.
