Notes
'Skarbnytsia' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Skarbnytsia') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, full double pink blooms open in late spring to early summer and smell sweet. Strong stems hold the upright bush at 39 to 43 inches tall, so it rarely needs support. Vasily Gorobets bred it.
Pairs well with Wild bergamot, Blanket flower, and Japanese spirea.
