Notes

'Skylands' oriental spruce (Picea orientalis 'Skylands') is a tree for specimen plantings, accent, privacy screen, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil. It grows slowly into a dense, evergreen tree. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Give it plenty of room, since it can reach 35 feet tall.
