Notes

'Skyline' honey locust (Gleditsia triacanthos 'Skyline') is a tree with a broad pyramidal shape. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows at a rapid rate and has no thorns. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Bees and butterflies visit its spring blooms, and it tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Cortland apple, Juneberry, and Orange daylily.
