Notes

'Sleeping Ariadne' peony (Paeonia 'Sleeping Ariadne') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Light pink double flowers have frilled guard petals and a slight fragrance. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The upright stems need no support, and Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with PowWow White coneflower, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Miss Kim lilac.
