Notes

'Snow Derby' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Snow Derby') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Edward Lee Michau bred it. It grows about 30 inches tall and has strong stems. Each stem carries seven buds, with many side blooms around the white ball-shaped terminal bloom.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Sedge, and Black Hero tulip.
