Notes

Snow pear (Pyrus nivalis) is a tree for low maintenance and food garden use. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 20 to 30 feet tall and spreads 15 to 20 feet, so give it plenty of room. Birds visit the tree, and it adapts to acid, alkaline, or neutral soil.

Pairs well with Apricot, May Night salvia, and Greig's tulip.
