Notes
'Snow Tower' Chinese dogwood (Cornus kousa 'Snow Tower') is a tree for borders, specimen planting, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It blooms later and longer than other dogwoods, with white flowers that attract butterflies and bees. Deer tend to pass it by. Dark green leaves turn reddish-purple in fall.
Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Shasta daisy, and Blue Chiffon rose of sharon.
