Notes

'Miss Satomi' Chinese dogwood (Cornus kousa 'Miss Satomi') is a shrub for specimen planting, borders, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows slowly with an erect habit, so give it space to mature.

Pairs well with Japanese maple, Blue Chiffon rose of sharon, Queen of Night tulip, and Coral Charm peony.
