'Wolf Eyes' Chinese dogwood (Cornus kousa 'Wolf Eyes') is a tree for borders, pollinator gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows slowly with an erect habit. Flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees, and birds also visit it. It sits low on the menu for deer.
