Notes

'Snowdrift' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Snowdrift') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The small white flowers have a faint blush and open in early summer. They have a Japanese type form with blush to yellowish cream centers. Robert W. Wallace bred it, and the compact plant stays medium in size.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Sedge, and Hairy aster.
