Notes
Snowdrop (Galanthus ikariae) is a bulb for naturalized plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Its white flowers open from mid to late winter into early spring on plants only 3 to 6 inches tall. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Plant the bulbs in drifts for the best show.
Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Black Hero tulip, and Royal fern.
Native range
Aegean Islands, Turkey, and Caucasus.
