Notes

'Solara' peony (Paeonia 'Solara') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Nate Bremer bred it, and bees love the large yellow single blooms. Many side buds stretch the bloom season for weeks. The rounded bush holds its flowers up well without support.

Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Blue grama, and Black Hero tulip.
