Notes

'Solitaire' rose (Rosa 'Solitaire') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant bears fragrant, medium pink blooms in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Samuel Darragh bred it in 1970.

Pairs well with Chocolate cosmos, Society garlic, Snapdragon, and Mondo grass.
