Notes

'Sonoma William’s Sonata' peony (Paeonia 'Sonoma William’s Sonata') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The fragrant 7 inch flowers open in early to late spring with soft yellow petals washed with red. The red fades as the blooms age, so yellow takes over.

Pairs well with Catmint, Blue fescue, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
