Notes
'Sorbet Formula Mix' viola (Viola cornuta 'Sorbet Formula Mix') is an annual for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. It ranks among the more cold-hardy annuals, and with some winter protection it keeps growing through light freezes. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant violet and lavender flowers appear early and in great numbers, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Foam flower, Garden phlox, and Little bluestem.
