Notes
'Souvenir de Ducher' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Souvenir de Ducher') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Cut stems from a shrub like this can brighten a vase indoors. Give it room in the border so the woody stems can spread over the years.
Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Stargazer lily, and Sedge.
