Notes

'Sparkling Scarlet' rose (Rosa 'Sparkling Scarlet') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It bears fragrant, medium red blooms in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Marie-Louise Meilland bred it in 1971.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Blue sage, and Greig's tulip.
