Notes
'Spindrift' delphinium (Delphinium elatum 'Spindrift') is a perennial for borders and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It stands erect and reaches about 59 to 71 inches tall, and its blue, pink, purple, or white flowers attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds.
Pairs well with Coral Sunset peony, Golden Tiara hosta, Carlton daffodil, and Polish Spirit clematis.
