Notes

'Spring Glory' serviceberry (Amelanchier canadensis 'Spring Glory') is a tree for specimen planting, borders, pollinator gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late spring, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit it. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows at a moderate rate with an erect form.

Pairs well with Royal fern, Black chokeberry, and Nodding onion.
