Notes

'Sprinter' boxwood (Buxus microphylla 'Sprinter') is a shrub for borders, hedges, foundation plantings, and formal gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It stays dense and evergreen, and it grows slowly to 24 to 48 inches tall and wide. Bees visit the spring blooms.

Pairs well with Bloodgood Japanese maple, Autumn fern, and Fountain grass.
