Notes

'Green Pillow' boxwood (Buxus microphylla 'Green Pillow') is a shrub for borders, hedges, foundation plantings, and formal gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or clay soil. It grows slowly into a dense, evergreen mound that reaches 24 to 36 inches tall. Greenish-cream flowers open in spring and attract bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Hicksii yew, Switchgrass, Eden rose, and Sweet woodruff.
