Notes

Star-of-bethlehem (Ornithogalum pyramidale) is a bulb for cut flowers, borders, and fragrant plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil. Pyramidal spikes carry pure white, star-shaped flowers with green-striped backs. The flowers face outward and smell sweet. The stems last a long time in a vase, so you can cut them for indoor bouquets.

Pairs well with Virginia sweetspire, Fountain grass, and Yellow iris.
