Notes
Chincherinchee (Ornithogalum thyrsoides) is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Many translucent white flowers crowd into a rounded to triangular cluster on a tall stalk. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Its green leaves stand upright and have hairy edges.
Pairs well with Society garlic, Balloon flower, and Mondo grass.
