Notes

'Stephanie' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Stephanie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The huge double flowers open in mid to late spring. Pale pink petals flush with rose-pink and fade almost white with age. Crimson-tipped carpels sit in a center of long stamens.

Pairs well with Carlton daffodil, Sensitive fern, Shrub rose, and Orange lily.
