Notes
'Strike It Rich' rose (Rosa 'Strike It Rich') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Tom Carruth bred it, and Weeks Wholesale Rose Grower, Inc introduced it in 2007. Golden-yellow blooms with pink edges are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. The upright canes have thorns, so wear gloves when you cut stems.
Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Ornamental onion, Jackmanii clematis, and Arrowwood viburnum.
