Notes

'Success' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Success') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It forms a large, compact plant with many single, Tyrian pink flowers that show well above the foliage. The blooms are large and open in mid to late spring.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Sedge, Picture tulip, and Charles Joly lilac.
