Notes

'Suecica Aurea' common juniper (Juniperus communis 'Suecica Aurea') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows in a columnar shape and reaches about 35 to 59 inches tall. Growth is moderate, and the evergreen needles give year-round color.

Pairs well with Sunkist American arborvitae, Pearly everlasting, and Red fescue.
